This headphone amp comes with some pretty impressive specs and some features that will make your job much easier. All of this means that if you want to enhance your audio experience, Oppo HA-2SE will help you with it.

This is a DAC & amp device that has seriously good performances that should satisfy even the pickiest audiophiles. That said, Oppo HA-2SE still might not be the very best choice for studio use. But, if you’re looking for a headphone amp to improve the audio performances of your mobile device or personal computer, Oppo HA-2SE is more than a suitable choice.

Features of Oppo HA-2SE

  • Computer & smartphone compatible – You can use this headphone amp to enhance the audio quality of files played on your smartphone (Android or iOS) or computer (Windows and Mac). All of this is possible because Oppo HA-2SE comes with built-in microUSB input, USB type-A input, and a 3.5 mm jack.
  • Two gain settings – To ensure it will match its performance with your headphones, this amp comes with two gain settings.
  • 3000mAh battery – The battery has enough capacity to keep the amp on for more than 13 hours straight on one charge. And when you need to recharge it, the whole process won’t take more than an hour and a half.
  • Power bank – You can use this amp as a power bank for your smartphone.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Suitable with different devices – You can use this amp to enhance the music played on your smartphone, on both Android or iOS. You can also connect it to your computer or laptop. It doesn’t matter if it runs on Windows of Apple’s MacOS.
  • Fantastic battery – Not only is the battery capable of keeping the amp going for more than half a day, it can also be used to recharge your smartphone’s battery.
  • Tough built – This amp is made of top-quality materials, e.g. aluminum, which is used for the body of this device. Apart from making it tough and sturdy, it also reduces EM interference.

Cons:

  • Price – Although it’s designed for regular smartphone users, not professionals, Oppo HA-2SE is not a cheap amplifier. On the other hand, if you’re a passionate audiophile, you won’t mind spending a bit more on a top-quality product.

Oppo HA-2SE – To Buy or Not to Buy, That is the Question

It does cost a bit more than other amps aimed at smartphone users, there’s no denying. But, it does offer a few advantages. Apart from the obvious, which is that it’s great at enhancing audio quality, this amp also comes with a few other perks, and can even be used as a mobile power bank, among other things.

If your smartphone battery dies, you can use Oppo HA-2SE to charge it. The amp’s battery has the capacity of 3000 mAh – enough to charge most modern smartphones.
